Jones was one of the most skilled hurdlers when she began the college. For the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship she took home the 100-meter race. She was also one of the runners-up team for the 100-meter relay event. Jones has been crowned the winner of the indoor hurdles at the NCAA Championships both in 2003 and 2004. Jones started her track career in 2005 when she finished her undergraduate studies. The following year she also won the Torino Memorial event, and in the year 2206, she was awarded the Ostrava track event as along with the Heusden track event.

Brandt was raised and born in Cape Town in South Africa. She emigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family during her teens. Brandt was identified by casting directors in her home town and was cast in the part as Naevia in the Starz hit Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Her performance was a hit for both the audience and the producers Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. She was a part of the cult Netflix series Lucifer which had a 6 year run playing the fan beloved comic book character from DC/Vertigo Mazikeen. Brandt is set to next be seen alongside Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira and the other Walking Dead cast members in the six episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. In the summer of 2023's Netflix adult animated comedy Captain Fall, Brandt stars opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley-Ann Brandt is an South African actress, born in Cape Town, South Africa on the 2nd December 1981. She's a very talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt, along with her whole family, moved in Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. She began her career working in Auckland as a retailer later being elevated to a manager of IT. Lesley is a part of numerous commercials following a couple of modeling projects. In 2008, she finished her studies in acting, and continued her training in Meisner methods of studying.
